GMAT

It was August 2010 and I was preparing for my GMAT exam , so this is a decade old story

In GMAT, surprisingly , each time, you answer a tough question correctly , you get an even tougher question , and if you answer that correctly, even a tougher one — you might feel exasperated

But that’s the essence of the Computer Adaptive Test mechanism , it maybe starts with putting you on a 650 mark curve and when it finds you good, check if you are good enough for 670, and then for 690, 710…And thus increasing difficultly of questions, ultimately I landed with a score of 760 — so fighting the increasing complexity was worth it

If you answer 2 questions incorrectly , you will find you start getting easier ones 😊 the algorithm realises that, say, 680 is your limit and won’t bother you more

Isn’t life also often like this — those who shoulder tough responsibilities find themselves bracing for the more difficult situations

Maybe God is also testing whether you are just decent or really good 💐💐
