For Initial Shortlisting, Each IIM assigns a different weight to parameters such as Class X Class XII Graduation CAT Score Gender Diversity Work Ex Academic Diversity

Without past academics, its virtually impossible to crack IIM B and IIM L

If your graduation marks are an issue, but Class X and XII are good, go for IIMC, IIMI, IIMK etc

FMS and MDI go only by CAT Score for Initial Shortlisting

Similarly, the pattern for weights assigned to Class X, Class XII, Graduation, CA/CS/CWA or PG ,CAT Score, Work Ex, GD Score ,Personal Interview, Writing Test, Extempore , Gender Diversity, Academic Diversity, Resume, Profile will vary across IIMs and the likes of FMS and MDI
