The couplet 1.5.13 from Sundarkand in Ramayana has a lot to convey

tab dekhi mudrika manohar. ram nam ankit ati sundar॥ chakit chitav mudari pahichani. harash bishad hridayn akulan

jiti ko sakai ajay raghurai

maya te asi rachi naa jai

When Hanuman Ji presented his credentials along with the ring with name of Lord Ram engraved on it, Sita Ji immediately understood that this could not have been created by illusion and thus trusted Hanuman Ji

A lot is told on social media about the importance of degrees/colleges — that droputs are best positioned to start-up.

My view is that having a degree from a specific college helps you bridge that trust gap even when you pitch to strangers — it is quite obvious, lets say, that a degree from an IIT/IIM is not handed over to you on a platter. You have to slog it out to get the same. This background helps a stranger believe that you can do the task you are pitching for

Thus, it might not be a bad idea to actually have a couple of degrees under your belt so that you can bridge the trust deficit easily

your thoughts?
