Is IPM Programme of IIM Indore worth it? Launched by IIM Indore in 2011, the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is the first of its kind in India. The revised structure of the first three years of the Five Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), aims to build a strong platform for the participants to launch into the final stages of the program. The first three years put them through a rigorous routine of mathematics, statistics and economics along with social sciences and other disciplines. After 3 years of intensive study of foundational disciplines, the IPM students train as managers along with the students of the Institute’s 2-year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), undertaking the same course package in management studies in years 4 and 5. the end of the five year Integrated Programme, the participants would be awarded with Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) and Master of Business Administration (under the Dual Degree Programme) by IIM Indore on successful completion of programme requirements. Is there an exit option after three years? Ans. Yes. Student will be allowed to withdraw from the course after successful completion of three years. The BA degree will be awarded after the next convocation. You can then , say, take the CAT and try for say, IIM ABC Total estimated amount for first three years is INR 1397133 Tuition fee (including hostel fee) for the 4th and 5th year will be at par with PGP2023–25 batch when IPM2020 batch students will reach their 4th and 5th year Key issue is the perception gap, as these candidates have not got into IIM thru the CAT One needs to evaluate how the program compares with say, B.Com from SRCC and St Xaviers, a BMS from Sukhdev
